Hi, I have a mk4 Clio 0.9 petrol engine vehicle and have noticed that I have a pool of water on the garage floor directly under the front passenger foot-well. The water is clean so it would appear that it is probably condensation from the A/C system. I have not lost any water from the cooling system or washer system. I have started the engine and noticed that the A/C pipes under the bonnet get very cold with condensation on them very quickly, even though the A/C unit is not switched on. Is this normal? I have read that hybrid type cars have an electrical A/C system which works continuously. Are they now fitting these systems into normally aspirated type cars. The A/C system is working ok i.e. switches off/on with noticeable temperature differences. Many thanks.
