I have a UK-reg. RHD 2000 Scenic Megan RX4 – owned since 2004 and at 180,000 miles still on its original motor, alternator, exhaust pipe(!) – and 100% rust-free.
But I’ve a 'winter coming on' problem: the internal ventilation fan’s gone ‘erratic’: doesn’t work some days at any fan-speed setting, yet going over a cattle grid sometimes ‘rattles’ it into life! A friendly (non-Renault) local garage owner tells me fixing it’s a 4-hour-plus dashboard-out job - so doubtless...
