Rear indicator strange issue

My grandson recently bought a 2009 Clio and a strange problem with the rear left indicator has developed. The bulb is ok. With the ignition on, engine running, car stationary, it works ok. With the car stationary, all hazard lights work ok. However, when driving normally, the left rear indicator does not work. Any thoughts?
