Espace IV G9T 2.2Dci DF195 error message Camshaft sensor

Hi

I have an issue with the Camshaft sensor circuit.
Intermittent errors that cut the engine at the totally wrong times.

The problem started with me cutting the cable when attaching the gearbox back onto the engine... (Always look twice - then again) Cable replaced by soldering on something similar.

I have replaced the sensor - twice!
Only one of the sensors permit the car to drive - a little.

So - what to do??

Laguna III EPB "Check Parking Break"

I just purchased a Lagnua III with an EPB fault, the service light is on and every time the car starts it say Check Parking Brake.

Pulling the handle you can hear the EPB motor turning but the Check Parking Break warning appears on the screen with a flashing parking break light.

I have done some research and i think it may be the manual override cable has been pulled in the past but the EPB hasn't been able to reset it's self after.

I have attached my ODBC reader and there are no codes...

scenic 2lt 16v F4R throttle prob

Ive an issue with my Scenic 2001-03 2lt 16v F4R in that the Throttle has a mind of its own. Racing, reving, loss of idle it does it all! Ive changed the throttle Body with no success and checked over quite a lot of things already.
Im interested in the part the throttle cable goes that sends an electronic signal to the ECU. Can anybody tell me whats this part called, i cant find it listed with car part traders?
Also does anyone have the wiring diagram for this cars electrics...

Grand scenic 60 plate window fail which item?

Hi all.

We have a 60 plate Grand Scenic & the passenger side window hasn't worked since we bought it.
What happens is, if its accidently wound down (via drivers switch as passenger side taped over) the window goes down a bit then it just drops, but not all the way inside!
To get it back takes 2 people. One pushes the switch to go back up while the other puts the palm of each hand either side of the window (with door open) & manually lifts it up.

driver and passenger seat wont tilt forward to let passengers into back seats of renault laguna coupe.
Also driver door not opening have to climb into passenger side to open

Espace IV hidden fuses FOUND

I am looking for the fuse that protects the light sensor on the windscreen (for automatic lights) and also powers the interior lights.
That is, these are not working since I gaffed around and shorted something

It is NOT in the dashboard top left fuse box NOR under the bonnet near the battery. Neither is it the one hidden under the floor between the two front seats …. I have checked ALL of these.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram that can help ?

Hi my laguna II 2.0 automatic have an airbag problem with B100D, B100E, B100F, B1010 and B1044 error codes. I have checked many wirings and made some diagonostics but no solution yet. Here is the error codes explanations:

Suspension clanking sound

I'm very clued up when it comes to vehicle mechanics but this one has me completely beat. When driving along when the suspension hits a bump in the road I get a clanking sound to almost a rattle, this is the best way to describe it. Its not your typical ball joint noise. This sound is only coming from left (n/s). My car is a 2006 Megane 1.6 VVT maxim.

Renault Master robotic unit clutch master cylinder replacement or service

Hello
Can the clutch master cylinder be serviced or changed on the robotic gearbox unit. I have the fluid drop fairly quickly (10 miles or so). No external leaks and the slave cyclinder was changed a year ago. When there is fluid the system works ok. Any help would be good. I do not want to change the robotic unit for this problem if possible.

Clio 1.2 non turbo engine whine noise

Hi All,

I've recently been using my wife's car as it runs as its cheaper to run and she is working from home at the moment with all this C19 stuff.
2011 facelifted model with the non-turbo 1.2L. Its done 61K miles and does about 5K to 7K a year. Its a shopping cart basically.

Clio 1.2 eco engine gear change issue

Hi All,

Looking for some help to diagnose a problem that's started happening to our Clio manual transmission.
61k miles on the clock so I wouldn't expect a clutch to be burnt out normally but its a small engine with very short gearing so maybe I'm wrong?
This is a sudden problem and due to its intermittent nature and the cars low miles (generally 5k-7k per year) I wouldn't expect there to be a gearbox synchro issue either.

Renault Kadjar Fuel Gauge

Hi all,

Looking for advice. I got a Kadjar couple weeks ago and topped the fuel up today to the max. 1.3 petrol. Turned the engine on and the digital fuel gauge isnt showing the tank is full despite me getting 3 clicks. Looking for any advice regarding this or of someone has had any similar issues. Has anyone on this forum experienced fitting a dashcam front and rear camera to their Megane Convertible? I am a recent owner of a convertible, having previously owned a Megane Dynamique Hashback, where my dashcam was fitted by myself. I have a Captur II 1.3 TCE that by free will reset it self the bord computer.

I suspect this happen each time i turn on the eletrics systems of the car without puting the engine working.

I have recently purchased an old traffic camper van and am looking at trying to restore it to original spec as much as possible. Does anyone know if it is possible to get front wings new still? I'm soon to become a Renault owner! I loved the Clio IV on a recent test drive and plan to replace my Citroen C1 (first car) with one in around six months.

I discussed to the saleswoman on the test drive how driving in Europe is a common thing for me (I have family in Catalunya, and also enjoy traveling by road) and am aware changing the speedometer from mph to km/h is an easy thing, thanks to its digital readout.

I have recently purchased a 2007 Clio with the 1.2 TCE 100 engine, there is an odd issue with the PCV/breather pipework that I am trying to work out the solution to, I believe the actual PCV setup is in the rocker cover however my issue is the hoses on the engine. Clio 3 1.2 Battery and Stop light

Hello everyone!
I have 2006 Clio mk3 1.2 75hp.
9 months ago i replaced the battery.
Ever since after 10-15 minutes drive Battery and Stop light comes on. Restart the car and lights are gone.
Charging is normal.
Hasn't drained the battery once!
Nothing else happens when the lights come on, radio, lights etc keep working.
Car has been to mechanics aswell, no-one has a clue.
Anyone had same problem?

Hi all,
Could anyone please help or give advice. I have a 2008 Renault Megane 1.6 Convertible and my back window will not go up.

This is my first post so bear with me. I have a 2010 Scenic mk111 1.5 dci.
I have the messages above on my dash also the engine light and spanner. Both warnings arrived at the same time.
The cruise control and speed limiter are also affected (not available) too. I've found a youtube video which seems to explain it

The video is for a Megane 3 1.5dci but I'm guessing it's the same engine.

CLIO TCE 90 2016 manual.
Im getting this error code from my clio using a simple obd2 scanner:
P0315 Crankshaft Position System Variation Not Learned

when clearing, it returns on the next engine start.
the car starts and drive normally.
the crank sensor was taken out and cleaned - same error persists

tried to fire the engine with the sensor disconnected - the check engine was gone - and the car took 10 seconds to...

hi, i have a 1998 renault megane rxe hot hatch.

a brand new battery went flat in a matter of a month or two the car had not been driven on the road.

the car won't start, it is dead.

there is an alarm, an aftermarket alarm which was installed a while ago. it has an immobiliser could this be why the car does not start?

when you unlock car you can turn heater blower on turn air con on and turn wipers on without putting keycard in to start
is this normal or is there a fault
also when car has been running and you take keycard out you can have above all running until to lock doors then they turn off
i had a mk 2 megane and they all used to turn off when you opened drivers door

2009 Diesel Koleos 'Check Injection System' and Starting Issues

Just changed from a Megane CC to a 2009 Diesel Koleos, love the car, purchased it from a dealer and all was ok for the first few days, did one long run 60ish miles home and a load of shorter runs all ok.

First issue was started it Sunday morning, reversed up and it stalled then would not start again, just turning over but would not fire, no error lights, eventually it came back to life and was fine after that.

Monday went on a 75 mile run on the motorway, all ok, got where I was going...

Brake Switch Change - Laguna 3 2.0 dCi 150 Auto

Hi All

Please move if this is in the wrong section, but I've got round to changing my brake switch today after having some sticky brake lights, and thought I'd post a how to for anyone else with this problem - be warned, you will need to be flexible!

Firstly, the switch is on the passenger side - look below the glove box and there is a plastic cover with holes in it that moves about - the switch is under this cover on the right hand side, you can get at it without taking that cover off...

P0235 code - Mégane 130 dci - running out of ideas!

I bought a project 08
Mégane 130dci with numerous faults. Slowly but surely I've got rid of them all bar one - p0235. I just can't crack it. The car starts and idles perfectly , it is a little flat though and I'm not convinced I'm getting what I should out of the turbo.

I can clear the codes but the p0235 immediately returns without even staring the engine which makes me think it's an electrical issue rather than a fault that develops whilst engine is running/driving.

Renault Trafic Warning Lights

I have a 2005 Renault Trafic 1.9DCi. It drives okay until I come to a hill and then this warning light comes on. If I turn the engine on and off again the warning light goes away and the van will run until it comes under heavy load again.

Mk2 Clio dCi electric window intermittent function

Hi all,

The electric window on the drivers side is very intermittent as to whether it'll function. I can control the passenger side fine and can make the window go up fine (where I also hear a distinct clicking noise from the passenger side). When trying to make the window go down much of the time it doesn't work, I often have to press down hard or wiggle it a bit and don't hear the click noise either.

Is this simply a faulty switch and a case of buying a replacement or could it be...

Kangoo 1.5 DCi - Excessive vibrations above 40mph

Warbling throbbing vibrations bad at low speeds and then then even worse above 40mph

Car is drivable between 20 - 40mph by feathering the clutch to reduce the worst of throbbing vibes.

Have had both front wheels off and both bearings are fine, no play spin freely

Have replaced the offside longer driveshaft but unfortunately vibes still the same.

Q: Should I bother replacing the shorter near side drive shaft in the hope it fixes it or is this gonna be a "differential / gearbox" problem...

Hi All,

I have an issue where my Laguna will start and stalls almost instantly. The accelerator does not appear to have and affect when pressed.

The issue occurred while driving, I lost all power and the accelerator failed to work. After turning on an off a few times it the got to the point of starting, then stalling.

The AA came out, thought it was the EGR valve and checked it, also blanked it off, but that made no difference. They put on their tester and everything seemed to be fine...

Hi everyone I've just changed my van to a traffic buissines plus 2016, I need to get access fuse 41 in the fuse box which his behind the glove box, I've move the little pull out flap and can see the fuse box but I can't get to the fuse I need, just wanted to know if I have to remove anything else or does the fuse box drop down by a clip or button.
Any help appreciated has I'm lost at the moment.

Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor P0545

Hi All

I currently have a Scenic 3 1.5 dci 2010. Runs lovely, starts ok seems to run perfect.

Last week I has the dreaded check injection system come up. So plugged the car into some obd software and it is showing EGT Sensor (p0545).

Does anyone know how to get to this? I have parted with a small forutne to get a replacement at £55 at the main dealers a couple of days ago..... its an expensive resistor!! :crazy:

Visual Reference for reassembling the engine bay of Renault Trafic 1992

Do any of you have any workshop manuals on how to reassemble the front engine bay - mainly the headlights on 1992 Renault Trafic?
For some reason, I can't work out how to bolt the new headlights back in. There is a big gap, between the bolt holes on the top of the lights and the top of the engine bay .

Hi, I have an issue with my turbo leaking oil into the intercooler system. There's a fair bit of oil everywhere in the intake. I've checked the PCV valve and all seems well, so I suspect a failing turbo. It's running ok, but recently had some foul burning smells in the cabin which I initially thought was a slipping clutch, but now think might have something to do with this problem. Firstly, Thanks for the add. New to these cars and think I’ll need this Forum😎
So I just bought the car and knew it had a problem. Service light on and “check injection”. It reveals to the redline but the turbo isn’t working.

Rear indicator strange issue

My grandson recently bought a 2009 Clio and a strange problem with the rear left indicator has developed. The bulb is ok. With the ignition on, engine running, car stationary, it works ok. RENAULT KANGOO TREKKA 2003 FAULTY HORN AND FM RECEPTION

Re-enable Scenic windows?

At the end of March I Sorned the 2007 Scenic ( a JM1U ) and removed the battery to stop it being drained by the immobiliser. On putting it back on the road at the beginning of July I found that none of the 4 windows would respond to the electric window switches.

In the past I have had the usual problem with the connections to the drivers window mechanism but this seems to be something different. All three fuses are intact and current reaches the switches.

Clio III Rear Door won't open from inside

Intermittent problem with o/s rear door on 2006 Clio where door cannot be opened from inside (a bit like having the child lock lever set, but makes a slight clicking noise when operating the inside latch lever). As mentioned, problem is intermittent - often works fine just after unlocking with central locking key, but generally doesn't work after a journey (something rattling loose??).
Car is a low series 5-door with manual child locks on the rear doors.

Master (2001) fusebox diagram

The fan seems to have given up in my 2001 Master.
Unfortunately, there's no diagram.for the under dash fusebox and the only diagram I can find online looks different, with 3 columns of fuses, whereas I have 4 columns of 11, making 44 in total (see pic)

2006 Clio 1.5dci, excessive black smoke and a distinct lack of power for most of the time.

Problem starter!
After a couple of months being a 3rd/4th key turn before starting, the van now won’t run.
Fires on key turn but then stops when you let the key go.
Fault code for crankshaft sensor was showing - replaced and still no joy.
Took a fuel pipe off to check fuel is running. When turning engine over noticed that this only dribbles out - is the fuel in the rail not meant to be under high pressure?
Any ideas would be welcome - it just got a new MOT before it stopped!!

Starter help!

I have an issue with my Starter motor (I think) so far I have checked the fuses and tested the relay. Smacked the starter a few times started the car and still no crank. I could hear the clunky solenoid for a while but after trying repeatedly even that stopped. What is best way of getting to this motor? Under the car looks easiest. Also any idea what this connector is in my fuse box? It's a 3 pin?
Car is 2010 MK3 clio 1.4 dynamique petrol.

Clio 2007 won't start

Hi!

My English is bad but I will try to explain what's going on with my car.

First, it wouldn't start with my primary key. When I took spare key, it started.

Next time it wouldn't start with either of my keys. When I took battery off and put it back, it started.

Now it won't start even if I take battery off. The light of immobilizer is on all the time when I try to start. It does not blink rapidly.

I replaced the two upper leaking gaskets on the Bosch VE411diesel pump. The upper cap is fixed by 4 bolts in short slots to enable the position to be set exactly on reassembly. Youtube has numerous videos on how to replace the gaskets and how to reset to the position of the top cap using a VAG COM program. Megane III Coupe Wing Mirror, are they same as the 5dr?

So I'm a little confused here have read this thread which says that the 5dr MK3 Megane and 3dr coupe mirrors are the same. Hi Folks, got master van mwb 2016, since new, only problem I keep having is rear brake pads seizing on. New issue... air con suddenly not working on passenger side. Could the gas be low? I read on other forums similar issues with issues resolved once you re-gas, but also read there is an actuator which controls a flap to direct either cold or warm(ambient) air in the dash somewhere...?

Both right and left CV joints were replaced on my Megane about 3 months ago, and about a week ago, the right side boot got damaged, while traversing a speed hump, of which, there are many in our area. Just lately whenever I turn the van on, the radio band changes to FM1. i normally have the digital radio selected but if i turn the ignition off it defaults back to FM1 again! The aircon on my 2004 Modus was working intermittently and has now stopped altogether.
The light on the aircon switch comes on but the compressor does not engage, I have checked the fuse and that is ok so I would like to check the relay but I can't identify where it is.

Traffic 2.0d rough running

Bought 60 plate 2.0d trafic had lots of work as it was a little neglected. Timing chain and full service and running really well. Had air con pipe changed and then recharge that's when the problem started.

Air con done by Kwik fit left it running for 40min to show me it was cold, which it was. However when I went to drive it away blew loads of sooty smoke and run really rough. About 5 min later it's back to normal running lovely (without air con).

Hi, I've got a 2001 5 door renault clio 2.

Today the windows were down and when I tried to power them up the passenger side had no life at all (from either the drivers side switch or the passenger door switch itself). I took the door card off and used a cable from the battery to operate the motor... which works fine!. With the window now up, it turns out that the passenger door windows switch will lower the window but won't make it go back up.

So my wee trafic is coming together now.

Flushed the brake system yesterday and what came out was more like mud than brake fluid.

Anyway I took it up the motorway and I've found that it drones quite badly. It starts around 35mph and gets quite loud by about 60mph.

2002 Renault Laguna 2.2dci issue

My 1st post so please be gentle lol
Ive got a laguna 2.2dci, when accelerating it brings up the coil and injection light, ive changed the intercooler as it had rotted, there wasnt a noticeable amount of oil in it, when idle the car will not rev past 4000 rpm, the diag scans have 4 faults all pointing towards the air flow meter, would a faulty meter cause the car not to rev properly?? Ive also cleaned the egr valve, it was dirty but not overly clogged

Mk3 Megane Air Conditioner Condenser Replacement

Hi All.
I have a Mk3 Megane and just had the Air Con re-gassed only to be told that the Condenser has gone and was quoted £400 to repair it. I know I like the car but this is just over the top.
While in at my local garage getting tyres I was talking to one of mechanics about it who said I would be far cheaper changing it myself and then getting it Re-gassed. As far as I am aware there is no gas in it although I will pop into where I get it Re-gassed to double check.

high guys i have an 06 1,4 clio which i changed the front wheel brgs on last week .Since then the A B S light comes on at 56mph, I have scanned the abs system and it comes up with wheel speed inconsistancy.so i changed the front abs sensors and its exactly the same.So i put the scanner back in and put it on live data on the abs and its showing the nearside front wheel is reading a slower speed then the rest of the wheels . Daylight driving lights

looking for some help I have a 2017 Trafic van which as daytime driving lights/sidelight twin filament lamps, recently a fault as developed. The daytime filaments are not lighting and the sidelight filaments are lighting but very dim.

I have tested voltage at the connectors and on the daylight side I am getting zero volts to earth and 1.5 volts to earth on the sidelight terminal.

Clio windows not working... HELP

Jst bought my first owned car

The front windows dont work at all..
I've checked all fuses and replaced them jst incase they'd blown (passenger side and under bonnet)
Had the door inside off to check motor was working which it is
