2012 Renault clio 1.2 16v turning over but not starting

Hi,
I have recently purchased a 2012 renault clio 1.2 16v petrol with 27000 miles on the clock. A Couple of times it has turned over for a bit longer than usual but eventually started but this morning it was really difficult to start and it took around 5 minutes of continually trying to start the engine for it to eventually fire up, it would just continually turn over. Any ideas on a solution to this problem.
