i have a Clio 2003, 1.2 16v and the UCH unit started failing on me so i had it replaced with a used one but working (since i can't get the original anymore).
And after the replacement everything works fine except the remote key unlock. It will lock the car using the key but it won't unlock. When i click the button on the key to unlock (after i've locked) the lights flash and it makes a noise but it doesn't actually unlock the car.
If i try the unlock button inside the car it works fine.
I'm really happy with the new UCH unit because with the old one i would lose signal lights randomly or the car wouldn't start etc but now that i got the new one i just wanna see if there is a way to get the unlock key part "hacked" or fixed.
My car guy said that the UCH i got is ver5.3 and i had 5.1 or something like that and that that is the problem.
Anybody got any ideas or is this just not fixable?
