Clio mk2 juddering low gear!

Hi everyone, My clio is being a right pain! It starts juddering only when slowing down into first gear or pulling away. A light comes on which looks like a coil which is apparently only supposed to be on a diesel. Typical. It then cuts out if I don't rev it up to about 3000. If I do that it stops and it's fine then it'll happen again. The problem is intermittent. Had the problem.before and changed plugs and coil pack and it fixed it. Could it be that again? Any help would be much appreciated!
