Need help
Hi all I'm in a bit of a muddle. The other day I was driving my car and pulled away from a set of lights in first gear and heard a nasty bang. I lost 1st and 5th gear. 5th came back but to get it into first I have to basically ram it in. Also I have a violent shake through the whole car. I have my suspicions that my gearbox has gone but just thought I would ask for azdvise before I take it to the garage. Also in am not driving itnas unsure what it was.
