Recently bought a second hand Megane. I think it's the 86bhp variant of the 1.5dci. The car was advertised as giving fuel consumption figures in the 50 to 55mpg region, whereas in reality it gives me about 40 to 45mpg.
Would an engine remap or tuning increase power as well as improve fuel consumption?
(Sorry if I'm using the remap/tuning terms incorrectly...I'm not very well versed with cars and their mechanicals.)
