My 09 Megane 2.0 tce 180, has always (I think) had a problem since I purchased it 6 months ago, second hand. Now when I say I think, my parents have a megane 3 (1.5d) and their car unlocks as soon as you put your hand behind the door handle. Mine however has always seemed that I have to pull the handle out for it to unlock then out again to open the door? This might just seem like that because its 'slow' to detect hand maybe? Mine has got to the point where no matter of tugging or waving behind the handle will work (on any door). Anyway what I want to know is 1. should it be unlocking when I put my hand behind the handle or when I pull it? And 2. what is the likely cause for this to be faulty, as I am sure its not the sensors as it wont work on passenger either?
