Trafic ignition problem

Hi Guys,

Just started my van and noticed that the ignition key didn't return.
so assume the spring has failed, anyone know if the spring is in the actual lock barrel itself, or is it in the switch at the back of the barrel?

if it is in the actual switch and I get a replacement, will it mess with the immobilizer?
