Scenic III 2010 petrol M4R Auto starting problem

My Scenic is finding it hard to start on warmer mornings. If its Colder it seems to start ok. Once the start button is pressed it will turn over often catch then die off a few times, then about the third time runs. Once started it will go first touch of the button all day until the next morning when its hit or miss. Thanks for any advice in advance. Could it be the TDC and if so where is this located on the M4R engine in addition does anyone know the part number of a TDC?
