O3 Scenic will not start

Hi All,
I ma new here and have searched as best as I can but do not seem to be able to resolve this one

I have a 2003 Scenic dynamique in Australia.
The car seems to have an intermittent fault where it will not start. It will crank for days and not fire. No splutter no nothing.
Now I have replaced the TDC sensor and checked it about 2000 times, and it has now been replaced.
What makes this one odd is if I give the car a dose of aero start (basically ether) it will start every time.
Once started it runs perfectly, no misses and has plenty of power.
It will also re-start normally once it has started once.
It seems to be random some time it will not start first thing in the morning, other times when it has been recently driven (last 30min).

Can anyone help ??
