Megane MkIII heater pannel bulb replacement

Hi all,

I'm new here and hoping you could give me some advice on this problem. Firstly I have a Megane Mk3 and the last few days only half the heater panel was illuminating but if I banged the dash the whole lot would light up. But today this half seems to have permanently stopped working.

Now I would of assumed that there was a few bulbs behind the dash panel and simply 1 or 2 have gone dodgy. But when I looked up my Haynes manual it says a single bulbs illuminates the panel if this is the case how is it possible that half of mine is lit and half isn't surely it would be all or nothing with one bulb.

If anyone has changed these bulbs any advice on dismantling the dash and all, what type bulb does it take so I can buy them in advance ?

Finally my 12v outlet hasn't illuminated for a while is it a case I have to replace the whole unit on them or can I replace the bulb.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
