2002 Scenic Fidji garage from HELL!

Hi,
I have used this garage once before and the service was good and close to my home. A few months prior the car would jolt sometimes when I pressed the accelerator. Then early December the car broke down. I felt something snap and the car would not move. In the end the breakdown truck came etc and I took it to the garage. The garage had the car a week and said the car needed a new clutch. So I said fair enough. Then a few days later he said you need a new driveshaft. In the end he fitted a drive shaft spline.
I went to pick the car up and this is where it all began!
  • The car would not steer straight
  • The inner wheel guard was missing
  • The air filter hose was ripped
  • It would not go into certain gears
  • When I turned left the horn went off
  • There was a very light stutter when pulling away (It was perfect before it went in the garage)
3 or 4 times I went back with the car.

After all that I thought that's the end of it all. Then just after Christmas the car broke down again! I went over a bump and something went clunk! The car then would shake on start up. It wouldn't go into reverse hear, but it would drive. So back to the garage! He said 3 bolts from the engine mounting bracket had stretched causing the engine to tilt forward and stop the gears. He said the nuts were tight, so I'm thinking how would this happen! (Now thinking back to the car was fine before and after the clutch/drive shaft spline replacement there was a slight stutter. So did they loosen these bolts? He said they didn't touch them. So I had to pay him to get the 3 bolts replaced!
So after all that I'm asking is the mechanic correct? As I've researched and I found to remove the driveshaft you have to remove 3 bolts holding the bearing support to the gearbox. Is that right?
And lastly I noticed where he put a new drive shaft spline should there be a gaiter over it? As its just open and I'm sure there used to be rubber gaiter.
Thanks for reading all this and I'm never going back to that garage again unless it's to get my money back for such an awful job.
Thanks.
