New turbo now ECU fault!!!!!!

I had a leaking turbo had a new cartridge put in, driving fine.

On express way today and car just lost power, no smoke, no stutter just a slow gradual slow down.

Car had ESP light on a few times last few days, now its on all the time along with the heart beat light ( not sure what is called)

Car wont rev when you press down accelerator in neutral, put it in 1st and it will rev a bit but will only drive at 6mph max

Called RAC they put it on computer and said internal ECU fault.

Code he gave me was 1880. It was wet and raining at the time, so not sure if ECU or some sensor or electrical component has got wet?

google search gives this....

The reason of Renault Espace P1880 OBD-II Engine Trouble Code is P1880 Transmission Transfer Case Disengaged Solenoid Short to Battery.

but you cant always believe google lol

hoping my ECU aint the proverbial as I have just spent £250 on parts and labour on the turbo.

My car spends more time in the garage than on the road
